bluecard with cholitas, llamas

This hand embroidered blue greeting card has designs of cholitas, Aymaran indigenous women as well as llamas. The card was embroidered by Kunturi, a non-profit organization that works under fairtrade principles. Kunturi works with handicapped artisans as well as students whose earnings help them pay their way through university in Bolivia. The card makes a wonderful gift in itself as it's intricate design is beautiful. It's a true masterpiece. The card measures 22 cm (8.7 in.) long by 4 cm (1.6 in) wide.
